Mary is a speech-language pathologist whose passion for the field is contagious! She has extensive experience as a school-based therapist and has always been known to “take her kids home with her.” All of her colleagues would agree that Mary goes above and beyond the 1-hour session to create individual experiences and maximize her student’s opportunities to grow.

When asked “What do you love about speech-language pathology?” Mary says,

“I love my field because communication is really what helps us connect to other people and brings fulfillment into our lives! I have seen how frustrating it can be for an individual to not be able to express their thoughts and feelings, and how finding ways to communicate

brings joy to the lives of others.”

Fun Facts About Mary
I love playing video games, driving my classic car, snuggles with my three dogs, and trying new recipes. I recently got engaged, so I’m also looking for wedding ideas online!

As a Product Specialist for the Verge Learning platform, Mary provides in-depth demonstrations on how to use the many resources and products available. Having experienced the chaos that ensued when she was thrown into providing teletherapy for speech services at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mary is a perfect example of someone who had little prior knowledge – but ended up loving all of the digital opportunities teletherapy provides. Through weekly demos and 1:1 support, she provides easy-to-understand directions on how to use scheduling and reporting tools, as well as support parents and engage students and clients with thousands of fun, interactive activities available on Verge Learning.
