Frequency of Therapy

Although every CWSN is different & the IEP is based on the Assessment by the Therapist, however worldwide research conclude in almost all children with special needs frequency of intervention leads to faster betterment of the child.

One study, published in the journal “Pediatrics” in 2018, found that children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who received intensive early intervention (30 hours per week) made greater gains in language and communication skills than those who received less intensive intervention (10 hours per week).

Another study, published in the journal “Developmental Medicine & Child Neurology” in 2017, found that children with cerebral palsy (CP) who received more frequent therapy sessions (3 times per week) showed greater improvement in motor function than those who received less frequent therapy sessions (2 times per week).
